Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort

"Our third stay at this resort and obviously for good reason! The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. Multiple pool areas with different depths were perfect for our small grandkids to play in. Shallow enough in one pool for them to splash and walk in and the other was deeper for swimming etc. The beach has super fun snorkeling especially at night,....grap a dive light and go see all kinds of critters on the nearby reef within a short swimming distance. We saw 4 octopus one evening and several squid etc. Great shore diving!!! Very nice rooms with full kitchens and super nice balconies. Some of the rooms do need some improvements however as one had a missing TV and blinds that needed repair. The included buffet breakfast is really nice and has made to order eggs, omelets etc. Hotel food is very good but we usually do not get the all inclusive as there are several super nice restuarants along the beach that we like to take turns eating at and they are all reasonably priced! We come here as a family to go diving and the dive shop "Infinity Divers" is an awesome outfit to work with! Everyone who works there is top notch! Our 12 year old grandson finished his certification with Tanya as his dive instructor and she is absolutely awesome!!! Tanya was very professional and went above and beyond in teaching him things that even us as seasoned divers were never taught! Highly recommend her! We rented a private boat and were taken to dive sites we picked!"

"It's a hidden gem, if you like your vacations to be extra relax and quiet, this is the place! The staff is amazing! they do nightly activities ( trivia, karaoke, dancing, disco) and they are great, gets you involved and moving. Also, if you are an outgoing person and like to chat, you will make lots of acquaintances along the way. The food was good, I would say dinners were my favorite. They do have snack time but they are strict and stay on a timely schedule - so food its not available 24 / 7. Bartenders are very friendly as well."

"We rented the room for a weekend getaway for my mom on her bday, she enjoyed every minute of it from the food, pool and everything. Just what she needed some relaxation. They even brought her a slice of cake and sang happy birthday 🙌!! She had a pool view from her room on the first floor she enjoy the fact that she didn’t had to climb the stairs lol. After all everything was wonderful."

"La Placita is a a lovely hotel. It is small and charming which makes it more personal. To get to the beach loungers it is a quick walk through a small parking lot, and then passed the neighboring property's beautiful pool. Over the past two years I've stayed at La Placita alone or with family three times. Each time I come back I'm so happy to see the same people working there. Each of them are so friendly, while being there for you in the background. Also, the breakfast in the air conditioned restaurant is a great start of the day. Lunch in the restaurant is also available, and the coconut shrimp is so good. We've stayed at many places in West Bay including Infinity Bay and Paradise, and La Placita will always be my second home when visiting the ideal tropical island of Roatan."

"The hotel is infested with cockroaches and mice, I had to kill a cockroach in the room, told the staff and the only thing they did was to spray a lot of pesticide inside the room without my consent and with all my things inside, they even expected us to sleep in that room without a 2 and 4 year old, since I complained they ended up changing our room, but their poor communication and lack of good customer service made our stay not enjoyable at all.To sum it up it was the worst experience, don’t stay there if you want a nice hotel with nice customer service go to Mayan."
