"This was our 2nd stay at the Avila Village Inn. It is a hidden gem adjacent the Bob Jones Nature Preserve. When you walk in to register, you are met with a winding staircase, large stone fireplace and comfy sofas. There is also 24hr coffee and tea available for guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And check-in was smooth. We booked a room in the main building which is older than the new buildings. I believe the new buildings are the trail view, forest view rooms and suites.(verify...

"We love the Cottage Inn by the Sea! The ocean front rooms offer spectacular views, we love having a fireplace in the room and beach access and the staff couldn’t be kinder! The only suggestion we would make would be to update the bathroom. "

The only problem in our room was the light in the bathroom sink area flickering like a strobe light. We weren’t able to use it as much as we would have liked. Location is not crowded and not too far from Pismo Beach. Rooms were comfy and spacious, premium tv apps like netflix, prime. Beds were comfortable.
