"Really nice classy old fashioned hotel feel. Extremely steep walks to hotel. Town has interesting character, probably seen better days. Good restaurants, nice pedestrianized streets."

"This hotel is beautiful and lovingly preserved. Every staff member we met was friendly and went out of their way to answer questions, especially about the building’s history. Breakfast at the Second Draft was perfect (get the iced collagen coffee!) and we really enjoyed the spa. The historical walls are literally a foot thick, so you can’t hear a peep from adjacent guests’ rooms. There’s even an art gallery on the third floor. Can’t wait to visit again!"

"We really like staying at the Gison's Warehouse. I felt so comfortable in the room - it was clean, stylish, roomy, and had extras that made us feel important. The woman (assuming she is the owner) made sure we got in okay and shared with us where to dine. We will be traveling by there frequently and plan on making this one of our usual stops. "Thank you for a great stay! The Abigail Inn is essentially a bed-and-breakfast. It is in a wonderful location for those who are visiting Lexington, Virginia, Washington and Lee University, or Virginia Military Institute. The included breakfast was honestly one of the best breakfasts of my life! "
