The room was clean and tidy. The guy at the front counter was very pleasant. It was only a overnight stay but I would stay there again.

Nice hotel but would not stay again

You could tell the cleaners had been in but with dining chairs in room missing screws in backs, felt like there fleas in the beds, limited toiletries.

Great location and affordable

For the cheap price of $70 a night this place is quite a little gem although it's no Hilton the location is perfect right on the river and close to all the shops and the centre of Rockhampton. The hotel were real friendly and helpful as well with directions if your looking for something quaint this place is it.

Well managed

Staff went out of their way to help me and could not do more. The motel is clean and presentable but Frank's assistance was something that really stands out.

Small and Neat rooms, odd smell in the hallways. Air Conditioner was noisy.

Convient

Driving through made this a viable option. I've stayed in other places in Rocky but this was fine for price and conviently located. Very comfortable with working air con. It's next to a main road so ask for a room facing opposite direction if you're a light sleeper. Staff were very helpful and rooms were comfortable. I'd stay again.

Above and beyond

Cannot thank Frank and his staff for their hospitality and assistance, they went above and beyond and made what could have been a very stressful time so much easier. Lovely facilities and very reasonable prices. Myself and my family will be choosing to stay here anytime we are in Rockhampton.

Cheap but not Cheerfull

Great price but really only suitable for an overnight stay, cosy and comfortable enough but the road noise is a real problem till around 9 in the evening then it starts up again around 6.

comfortable room with bathroom and television. If you are a light sleeper would advise getting a room on the opposite side of motel away from the road. Major road and the motel is almost on top of the traffic lights. The river is close by and its a short stroll to restaurants, pub and shops. Cheap meal at Leagues club

Great staff

Fantastic staff/manager Frank. Can't say enough about how great Frank was from check in to departure. Sure. The place is very dated and so close to the highway, that you do get road noise. A place for a quick sleep in a travel north, it is fine. And the staff are so good that it makes up for the age and condition of the rooms.

Noisy

The room was overpriced seeing as it overlooked a noisy highway intersection. We stayed on Tuesday night & the traffic was really loud all night long. The pool area is run down, spa area was dirty (we avoided). I wouldn't recommend staying here

not good Hotel is old and run down Room appeared to have not been used for a long time. Terrible smell and no lifts. Manager was great. Needs a big clean and overhaul

Bridge Motel Rockhampton

Needed somewhere to crash for one night after my son's surgery at Base Hospital. This is an older style motel but very clean and well presented. Free upgrade to king room which was lovely. Good brekky menu which is delivered to your room. Very close to town centre and facilities. All in all this was exactly what we needed - simple, hassle free and great price. Thanks.

Air conditioning was established extremely noisy, blocked out sound of the traffic. Shower head kept falling down. Was clean and bed was comfortable

View from room overlooking Fitzroy river lovely.

Only criticism is that fresh milk not provided. Backward step when motels chose to use " dead" milk.!

Won't stay again, ever!

Absolutely no customer satisfaction; very small rooms, no view, bugs on floor, walls cracking, bad wi-fi; terrible parking for 4wd; didn't feel safe at all. Meant to stay 5 days, left a day early.

Nice stay, but if you have the option do not take a room facing the street. It can get pretty noisy. Otherwise perfect place for our one-night stopover on our way to cairns. The staff was great and showed us where to get the best steaks in town. They were awesome ;)

Convenient budget hotel

We stayed in a budget room for 4 nights during our house renovation. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff cooked excellent breakfasts and were very friendly and helpful.
