"I liked it, rustic and funky. The resort is old and the set of rooms I stayed in need a lot of work. However the setting is very pretty with a very relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is quite good. My only real complaint was the mattress, it was way too soft. Not sure if it was purchased liked that or just plain worn out."

"If you book here, you must realize that, though this motel offers numerous advantages, it is a locally-owned, somewhat charming wooded property. It is not, however, the Hilton. The location is ideal—45 minutes from Crater Lake National Park and right next door to a gas station and convenience store (with extremely reasonable prices) which also serves as the check-in desk. Nearby Klamath Falls also offers shopping, restaurants, and a gorgeous lakeside drive. Check-in was easy, the clerk friendly and informative. A huge shoutout to Vince who manned the front desk the second and third days. When we extended our stay beyond just one night, he was able to accommodate our request to stay in the same room. The exterior of the property could have used a little sweeping and tidying up. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed firm enough, though the air conditioner was a little loud. The shower was nice and hot. The TV relied on apps, so one could download personal apps then logout from personal accounts before checking out. We would certainly stay there again. The price was reasonable and the place had a relaxed, quiet vibe."

"We loved the Running Y! We stayed in the World Mark part and the property was fabulous. We loved our apartment, the grounds, and the location (about 8 minute drive to Moore Park and another 7-8 minutes to town). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and they have awesome swimming pools (including a fabulous kiddie pool), tennis, walking/running paths, lodge w/coffee and restaurant, some shops, deli, and another restaurant. There was even a "beach party" when we were there with live music and food/drinks! The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back and stay again!"

"Property clean. Generally friendly staff. The lady who manages breakfast area was super nice. Even if we asked for couple items after breakfast closed, she provided them. Very kind to talk to. We booked for two nights, but the weird thing is that our room keys expired after first night. We had to reactivate. Also on the second day we requested for 30 more minutes to checkout which the front desk ok’ed. But the power was disconnected around checkout time! Weird. One of the better Hotels for crater lake visitors if Crater Lake lodge is sold out."

"Kitchen set-up was fine. Maybe an update for the coffee instead of Folgers would be nice. The rooms were VERY clean, with a strong smell of Pine Sol in the bathroom I am immunosuppressed, so once we opened the bathroom window, the room began to air out. "
