"Very nice hotel. Clean room and hotel generally. Water provided on arrival, though in plastic bottles. Lovely atmosphere. WIFI was not available in our room, shame."
"The staff was wonderful and helpful. Beautiful setting and perfect location for our travels. We dined at the hotel restaurant where both the food and the service were excellent!"
"We had an overnight stay at Hotel Leo Station. We were part of a group but sadly we were the only couple to be allocated a room in The Annexe. Our room was ok but on second floor and a difficult climb with suitcases. However we had an excellent meal which made up for the disappointment of the room."
"A beautiful location in the hills down by the river. The room was very nice, and the bed was comfortable. The room was spacious with clean and well-equipped bathroom facilities. We did not use the spa facilities, so unable to comment on them.
The staff were helpful and courteous. We did take advantage of the restaurant, where the food was very good, but unfortunately, my partner did not receive the dauphinoise potatoes she ordered.
There is ample free parking and opportunities to charge your vehicle if you have an electric car.
The corridors of the hotel seem a little tired, but please don't let that put you off the rest of the hotel.
A pleasant and peaceful stay on our European road trip.
Thank you."
"Wonderful stay - staff are lovely, room is comfortable and spacious, and great options for breakfast at a very reasonable price. Will definitely stay again!"
"All very excellent on my second vixit here! On my first night, looked at the dinner menu, first thought, a bit expensive. Nontheless ordered a two course meal. What a tremendous but wholly oversize meal! I was bloated! "
"Couldn’t fault the breakfast and evening meals. We booked standard rooms and were surprised to discover they were 50m away from the hotel, the rooms were small and dated with old looking carpets. The bed was comfy and the bedding clean and fresh. The en-suite was very cramped and cold with no heating to dry your towels. The lighting was controlled by a key switch that was located on the wall next to the bed, you had to insert the room key with the huge key fob into it and it was impossible to get out of bed without risking hitting the key. The reading lamps above the bed were positioned so that you couldn’t sit up in bed unless you bent them out of the way which wasn’t easy.
The pictures show the expensive rooms and the room we had was well short of my 4 star standard. There was a mini bar but it would have been better to give coffee and tea making equipment. "
