We felt very welcomed by the wonderful staff, from personally showing us to our room to the restaurant staff going out of their way to ensure my wife had one more schnitzel before leaving Germany. All-in-all, it was a memorable moment on our vacation, after a series of forgettable budget hotels. And the historical town of Wassenberg is worth a visit, even though it’s off the beaten path. "No, no, no and one more time NO. Place looks amazing, yet the service requires much improvement. I wanted to have some sleep, yet guests of the room opposite to mine had a party in their room and hallway. I called reception to come and calm them down, yet I was ignored. Instead of having nice 8 hrs sleep I had 4 hrs and I missed my breakfast. Morning receptionist was very apologetic yet absolutely useless."

The bed was very comfortable, I had a great sleeping experience and above all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel had many features that you'd normally find in a 5 star hotel.
