"Second time I’ve stayed there in the last month with the rooms not very clean- food residue in sink…sticky surfaces on kitchen counters and bathroom counter."

"This hotel was the worst I've stayed in! The place was run down and the person at the front desk was lacking severely in customer service, eye contact or common courtesy. I asked if there were extra blankets in the room, she said without looking up, you would have to ask for one. No further response from her. "Lots of cruisers stay here. Most helpful was luggage holding b4 check in time and shuttle to cruise terminal. Coffee was delicious. At check in, I told the rep. that I'll be needing shuttle service to cruise terminal and was told it's taking care of. My intuition told me otherwise hence I checked with another rep. the following day and sure enough, my name wasn't on it. She proceeded to do so for me. So, always double check!!! "It was a very walkable area with many close restaurants nearby. The room was clean but had a ridiculously expensive minibar in the room so bring snacks and drinks so you will not be tempted. I asked for a late check out due to my cruise time and was granted only one hour. I do not suggest this property for pre-cruise accommodations."

"Great stay. The host was very responsive and space was beautiful. More than sufficient laundry facilities, privacy, and lovely location. The only drawback was parking. If you have no need for a vehicle, perfect otherwise you may need to hunt down a spot some days. It really depends on time of day and day of week. Street parking but it's free so that is a bonus. I met some really great fellow travelers as well."

"The parking can be difficult to navigate if you are not familiar with the area. I was not aware that I had to register at one location and stay in another, so that was a bit overwhelming. "What a beautiful old building, redesigned to accommodate all us travellers. Only here for a day for work but what a lovely place. History is firstly pretty cool and then the building and design is great. Following on from that it’s far enough out but close enough to be in of all those places you could easily walk too. The docks are a taxi/uber ride but everything else is so accessible. The staff were so helpful and nice it’s got a cocktail bar and a breakfast cafe. Felt special to be a guest."

"This was our second Oxford location we’ve stayed at and we absolutely loved it even though it was for a short time. It’s close to a lot of stores and restaurants plus the waterfront is a huge plus! I’ve noticed with both stays, they had the exact same breakfast. I wonder if they do switch it up from time to time. Otherwise, no complaints"
