"The apartment and building were both clean and secure, and the area was okay. The staff were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated despite not speaking much english. "This hotel is expensive and Dingey. The bed came with flimsey scratchy sheets and flat sad pillows. We had to go to the front desk to retrieve two more as they wouldn't bring them. The walls were scratched, dinged up and dirty. It felt run down and dirty. We requested they call a cab in the very early morning for us and they did not write it down and forgot. We managed to share a cab with another elderly couple who's can was also late to being called. The only positive was the proximity to the airport, train station and a massive mall with a food court across the street. The hotel is listed as 24 hour shuttle to the airport which it is not."

"Great, modern facility. Room was a little small but very clean. The only negative was the surrounding area. We felt the area might be a little shady at night. Although we didn’t actually observe anything. We went to the local restaurant across the river and had a wonderful dinner. The people sitting next to us were also from the US. They told us they weren’t crazy about the area either. Maybe it’s just a tourist thing. If you moved the room closer to Rome, it would be a 5 star."
