Great experience visiting The Vatican.

We loved our stay. Fabrizia is an amazing host. Will definitely stay here again. Very close to the vatican. Walked to The Vatican daily. Good restaurants in the area.

A Quiet, Affordable, Hotel Close to St Peter’s

We were met by the manager of the apartments on our arrival and my wife and I were pleased by her helpful and friendly manner. She spoke English, made us feel very welcome and suggested the best way we could get to visit our planned list of places to see during our one week of vacation, also where we would find local and reasonably priced restaurants. Armed with a map and travel guide we had no problems in finding our way around the busy and exciting city of Rome. Trains, subway and buses, we used them all to travel when it was necessary and for many of the places we visited especially at cooler times of day we walked and walked! Close to the hotel there are bakers, pizza parlors and fruit stores as well as a general food supermarket and of course numerous cafes and restaurants. The hotel provides a basic continental breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, pastries, juice, set aside each day for each of the three rooms in the hotel. Of course, not forgetting the coffee maker with capsules for coffee or tea to suit individual tastes. The apartments are in a building one level above ground, clean and quite secure with a pleasant gated garden entrance. The surrounding area seemed very safe with charming cobbled streets and short walks to the busier tourist areas nearby. Our advice; from Fiumicino Airport to this location, travel by train to Stazione St.Pietro only a 5 minute walk to the apartment. Also, buy a Roma 3-day Pass to save on ticket prices for museums & transport.

4 jours à Rome en couple, parfait d'être situés ici, près du centre, du Vatican, et proche de Trastevere pour sortir. Fabrizia est très sympa et arrangeante

Chambre très fonctionnelle avec tout le nécessaire.Petits déjeuners copieux quoique peu variés.Cafés, thés, gâteaux à volonté toute la journée. L'hôtesse n'habite pas sur place mais il est facile de la joindre soit par téléphone, soit par petits papiers laissés dans la chambre.Elle est charmante ainsi que son fils qui est de très bon conseil. La situation de la chambre est exceptionnelle: très près du Vatican et avec un bus desservant tout le centre de Rome jusqu'à la gare Termini. Nous nous félicitons de ce choix et le recommandons vivement.

Posizione ottimale da S.Pietro

Abbiamo passato 3 notti in questo b&b. Si trova appena dietro piazza S.Pietro, e a 2 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria e bus di S.Pietro. Titolari molto cordiali e disponibili. Colazione nella norma, bagno molto piccolo e con asciugamani non proprio profumati. Phon rotto, e TV con solo 3 canali. Un po' di polvere qua e là. Consigliato per 1 max 2 notti.

Senza infamia ne' lode

Una camera in un appartamento stile studenti universitari al piano terra. Colazione self-service con merendine. Purtroppo la notte e' molestata da rumori da "cinema Mignon" al piano di sopra... Ottima la zona, tranquilla, vicinissima a P.za S. Pietro (motivo della mia scelta).

Un hotel tranquilo, céntrico y cómodo.

El "hotel" no tiene recepción, así que quedamos con Manlio (de ahí viene "Domus Manlii") sobre la hora aproximada de llegada y no hubo ningún problema. Llegamos desde la estación Términi en un autobús (también hay línea de tren) a la estación San Pietro y de allí al hotel hay apenas 150 metros. Es una zona muy tranquila, al lado del Vaticano. El edificio está muy bien conservado, incluso con una pequeña zona ajardinada interior. La habitación es amplia, cómoda y limpia, con servicio WIFI gratuito que funcionaba perfectamente. El desayuno era un poco "Self Service", pero estaba bien si sólo quieres un café y unas piezas de bollería. No se oyen ruidos nocturnos ni diurnos, se duerme a pierna suelta. Hay restaurantes cercanos donde se come muy bien, sin moverse del barrio. Las comunicaciones son estupendas: desde la estación de San Pietro (al lado) sale un tren que para en el Trastévere y sigue hasta Términi. Si quieres ir al aeropuerto es sencillo, el tren te lleva a Trastévere, allí se hace trasbordo a la línea FL1 que va directa al aeropuerto. ¡Sencillisimo!. También para en la estación de San Pietro la línea 64 de autobús. Al final de la calle hay varias líneas de autobuses que te comunican con toda la ciudad, aunque nosotros una vez lo hicimos andando todo. En cualquier caso, para volver, cualquier línea que te deje en la basílica de San Pedro vale.

Very nice place, recommended

It was quite good for a B&B. The staff is very helpful and polite, the location is also very good right next to the Vatican. All furniture and accessories in perfect condition, rooms are huge. Few things to consider: an Italian breakfast is not the same as a full English and as it is a B&B obviously you cannot expect a lounge or public spaces.

Great place to stay. 5 min walk to Vatican. She arranged for airport pickup for us (highly recommend....it is tricky to find it). Wonderful host!

Bien situé à 2 pas de la basilique Saint-Pierre.

La gérante a commandé pour nous une navette qui nous a récupéré à l'aéroport et emmené directement à l’hôtel, très pratique comme nous étions arrivé dans la nuit. Sinon une station est à 2 pas de l’hôtel. Elle nous a remis une carte et nous a expliqué un peu ce qu'il était possible de faire à Rome. La chambre est propre, wifi bon débit, nettoyage fait tous les jours, petit déjeuner simple mais très appréciable. On peut voir la basilique depuis la fenêtre.

Nice hotel, close to the Vatican city.

Staff were very nice and friendly. They came looking for us down the road on our first day, and helped us with our suitcases from there to the Hotel. Room has nice decor and comfortable to be in.

Domus très bien situé

Petit bed &breakfast très sympa. Situé à moins de 5min à pied de la place Saint Pierre. La gérante et son fils sont particulièrement accueillants, disponibles et gentils. Petit déjeuner un peu léger mais ce n'était pas le plus important pour nous.
