Clean room, facility could use some sprucing up- looks worn. AC didn’t seem to cool much and bathroom fan ran 24/7. This was a hidden gem, beautifully situated and convenient to restaurants, the Colisseum, and more. Our room was next off a small courtyard on the first floor with a grape vine trellis roof (full of grapes), and a nice screened porch area just for us. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff went way over and above helping us with setting up transportation to and from airport/cruise ports, and giving directions. I recommend this hotel highly!

We enjoyed our short one night stay at the Artorius hotel and really appreciated that the staff let us into our room early as we arrived very tired from our overnight flight. Our room had everything that we required and the terrace was lovely to sit on. The only downside to be aware of; the wifi was pretty much non existent. We would connect and try to use it but it kept disconnecting immediately.

Staff were very helpful! Bathroom newly renovated and bedroom was very spacious for our 2 large suitcases. Unfortunately the door lock to our room was troublesome - something that was known to staff yet not fixed.

we had a great stay! it was in a quite area with great access to a grocery store, dining options, and public transportation. although an old property it was clean, the bed was great, the bathroom was nice, and everything worked. there was a bit of malfunction with a set of automatic doors but they were very attentive in easily resetting and getting us through.

Highly recommend small, clean, well located hotel

The Artorius is perfectly located for the majority of sights in Rome and there were many, many, cafes and restaurants in the area. The rooms were spacious and had all amenities we required, we were able to get extra shower gel etc from reception with no fuss. The receptionists all spoke good English and were very helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day, beds made etc, shower was powerful and hot and the safe was an added bonus. The hairdryer wasn't the most powerful but I took my own in any case. The price was very reasonable and I really couldn't find anything to complain about, rather everything to recommend.

Amazing location and very clean!

The clean room and location made our anniversary very memorable. I would absolutely stay here again when we return to Rome. The historic elevator in the hotel was one of the coolest parts of our trip.

Very friendly staff, super clean, and comfortable room. The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, close to the major attractions. We walked everywhere, and if tired, we took the bus. The bus stops are only a few minutes' walk away. There are very nice restaurants, cafés, minimarkets, and shops in the area. We definitely recommend it and we'll come back for our next trip to Rome!!!

This hotel was in a great location, easy access to several restaraunts as well as the Colosseum and many other popular attractions by walking. Carla and everyone else at the reception were super helpful and were always availible to answer any questions we had!
