A good base for exploring Rome, we walked to The Trevi fountain in 20 mins. Our room was huge and the breakfast was also very nice. Lots of eating places and shops close to the hotel.

The room was fine, elevators worked fine but it looks like they have been doing work on the building for a very long time and nothing is happening. Staff were kind and helpful, they have recommendations for great restaurants and tours. Breakfast was greatttt, same thing everyday but it was definitely worth it. Great location too, sooo many restaurants nearby and so close to the bus stops and train station

Amazing hotel in the center of Rome. A couple blocks from the train station. Easy walk to many of Rome’s attractions. Spacious rooms and air conditioning. The added breakfast was terrific and delicious. Friendly front desk staff and smooth process. Highly recommend for visitors.

The hotel is very well located close to the terminal. They upgraded our rooms and we had plenty of space for a family of four. Breakfast was very good with eggs, fruits, ham and cheeses, pastries, yogurt, cereal the cappuccino was excellent. Air conditioner works perfectly.

Great location, but tech issues ruined the stay ​Hotel California has a fantastic location, making it easy to get around and explore. The property itself is an older hotel, but it's maintained well enough for its age. Breakfast in the morning was fine—nothing extraordinary, but decent options to start the day. ​Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work. Because I needed a reliable internet connection, we ultimately had to relocate to another hotel. If you just need a central spot to sleep and don't rely on Wi-Fi, it’s an okay choice, but the connectivity issues were a dealbreaker for me.

Conveniently located. Room was clean and very well serviced. Property looked like it was in the middle of being renovated. It needs it, as the decor must be 40 years old: needs updating (including converting the weird bath recess and in room hand basin, with separate toilet room into an enclosed ensuite. Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful.

Quick and easy check in and check out. Very nice staff interactions. Close to the Rome Terminal station which is accessed in less than 10 minutes. All major sites were walkable from this location 15-30 minutes. Room was good and clean. It is an older building so there was construction debris in some areas but did not affect us once in our room.
