We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance 9a long walk) of Rome Termini, but wound up taking a cab to get to it. We were quite happy with our stay, though the room was small. We particularly recommend the restaurant across the street and to the right (unfortunately I don't remember its name). It had delicious food, including gluten-free pasta and regular (i.e, with gluten) desserts. The hotel staff arranged a taxi to take us to Fiumicino airport, a trip of a little less than an hour.

We were really happy with this hotel! It was less than ten mins to reach the hotel from Termini Station, and the location is great as it seemed much more quiet than the touristy areas of the city. The hotel staff that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. It was a quick and easy arrival. Our room was great! We had booked a room with two beds and a balcony, which was really large and overlooked the city below (we were on the 5th floor). The room was modern, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was fine, in a nice dining room and attentive staff. Perfect location to explore Rome on foot. The hop-on-hop-off buses and city buses were just around the corner. We would definitely stay at Hotel Windrose again, the next time we visit Rome!

Great Location.

Location is excellent. About 6 minutes from termini. Several restaurants and shops close by. Staff is extremely helpful with trying to deal with a strange city. They were able to make reservation with a restaurant for me.

Cozy, clean, fair prices, B&B, very nice staff, close to main attractions, close to the main train station ( Roma Tremini), has one of the best restaurants in front of it ( La famiglia restaurant ) My only issue was ( no kettle , no fridge, no iron in the room) but we managed it.

Firstly, Paolo could not have been more helpful😊. He booked our cab to the airport for our departure back to Canada, our driver Alex was wonderful. Paolo also helped us with bus transportation to the Vatican and back. Both Paolo and Max were very accommodating for pur needs during our stay. The hotel is an easy walk from the Tremini where we arrived by train. We were also blessed to be have an early check in on our arrival. I was recommend the Windrose for your stay in Rome💗

Lovely boutique hotel minutes from Termini Rail!

The Windrose was a lovely, well priced property, not a 10 minute walk from Rome’s Termini rail station. The very pleasant staff spoke good English, and received me warmly. I was early to check in, so they kindly kept my luggage for me in a secure room without any extra charge. I chose a single room, but found it roomy, comfortable, and very pleasant with a large attractive bathroom and an even larger balcony that was accessible through tall French doors. A very nice continental breakfast was included and served tastefully on nice dishes in a very attractive breakfast room large enough for all of the guests. The lobby and , a couple of small sitting rooms are very attractive and look much more upscale than the price suggests. Overall, it was an excellent stay and the nicest of four different hotels I have used recently in Rome’s city center. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
