Everything is thought of - spa towels and robe, Wine glasses and outdoor glasses, biscuits, coffee pods, tea, cups and mugs, breakfast bowls and toaster. Beautiful view. Great food in the restaurant ohh and fabulous views! Easy reach of Launceston and surrounding areas. An excellent spot to relax and explore from.

Overall enjoyable stay marred by missing towel rack, poor breakfast and staff attitude. Only white bread available and very limited breakfast choices. Lake views and walks make up for the negatives.

A glorious hotel in a glorious location on the water. Wonderful clean modern accommodation with views to die for. What's more, there is a fabulous pub with great food a minutes walk down the hill. We will be back!

Absolutely amazing place , very relaxing and quiet , lovely and friendly staff , clean and comfy room , we stay in a hot tub room , the hot tub so very relaxing , the restaurant absolutely lovely beautiful meals , we loved the bakery as well , one of the best scallop pies we have ever eaten and the Cesar salad rolls yummy ... We will definitely be back ..

Rosevears Hotel - piece of paradise

Our stay at Rosevears Hotel was very comfortable. It was fantastic as a base stop over as it was central to both Launceston and the countryside, without the hustle and bustle of the city. Very serene, quiet and the view is inspirational. I am very fussy with cleanliness and this did not disappoint. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it thoroughly

We loved our stay at The Rosevears Hotel. The rooms were so warm and cosy with great views and very clean. The staff couldnt do anything more to help us. The food at the pub was fantastic for dinner and at the bakery for breakfast. We would stay here again definately. A hidden gem, close to Launceston and a nice change from staying in the cbd. A fabulous hotel. Thanks all for making our stay so memorable and special.

Check in staff lovely, room good but bed was a bit firm and probably should be a more medium mattress for price etc of room. Unfortunately our restaurant experience was a little disappointing - there seemed to be a lot of staff but felt a bit like things didn't flow. Drinks weren't checked, wait staff were floating about but didn't have specific tables and some didn't seem to know each other or their role. Eye fillet steak wasn't cooked as requested (too well cooked) and came with an odd mash etc. Some work needs to be done regarding the restaurant and also we were disappointed about the bakery being closed so nothing for coffee/breakfast. Given the location - maybe a drop in room price while things get back on track. Still love the location and the little mini break, thanks

Booked for outdoor spa and it didn't work. I had called up later that evening with no help. Next day, when we checked out, I explained the situation and later that day, I had received a voucher because of the spa not working. We've stayed here plenty of times and this was the first time the spa didn't work.

Cracking River Views!

We loved our stay at Rosevears Hotel. The room was modern and exceptionally clean. Communication for afterhours check-in and the process for this was easy. There's not a lot of space in the rooms once you add in two medium sized suitcases, but we managed. There is ample on-site free parking which is great. There is a short uphill walk to the rooms so a suitcase with wheels makes this easier (it is a wooden duckboard style walkway). We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant on site - with excellent service. Oh, and the hot chocolate sachets in our room were delicious so enjoy those!

Great spot. It’s close to Launceston but in a secluded spot. If you want to get away from noise and traffic this is the place. Spectacular views and the pub is only a hundred metres away.
