"Wow, staying in a real castle is very cool! My son and I really enjoyed the view from our room, the great breakfast and the peace and quiet. The museum was really well done and made us appreciate the unique history of the castle and where we were staying. The ferry stopped at 7:40 p.m., so if we wanted to stay later in town that might have been an issue, but it wasn't for us and we loved staying here."

Kanske inte det bästa för en enkel övernattning då det inte fanns restaurang som på vanliga hotell förutom för bokningar för konferens eller bröllop eller liknande. Men köket fixade riktigt god mat så det löste sig. Som konferensanläggning är den säkert helt fantastiskt bra!"

"This hotel is a gem! Although our stay was short we really enjoyed the hotel and we would definitely come back if we return to the area. It’s located in a small island with many activities to enjoy- walk, jog, swim, go to the spa. We booked a room overlooking the water and it was extremely nice and quiet. The room had a good size and the bathroom was clean and nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. "

"Hotel sits right off the dock at Vaxholm where the ferrys come in, so very conveniently located.. stunning views for all rooms having little balconies.. hotel rooms and hallways charmingly laid out to look like you're on a ship.. breakfast is wonderful and restaurant on street level has excellent local menu.. great leap off place for day trips via ferrys to islands such as Grinda and Svartso (Vaxholm itself can be accessed by car, is much more built up and is much less rustic than those two...
