Roswell s a lovely mid-sized town - the alien nonsense notwithstanding. I mean, take away the fun and goofy "alien museum" (which must be visited if you are here) and the other two museums - the contemporary art and the science one are both worth it

Roswell, NM is more than little green visitors from outer space. It has the New Mexico Military Institute, also a community college, museums, cultural attractions, a Historical Society, a fair, and the only McDonald's built like a spaceship.

Even if you don't buy into the alien story line just jump in and have a fun time. At 72 I didn't think this would do much for me but I was wrong. The museum, the shops everywhere was so much fun. Even the spacewalk. Very friendly town.

Roswell is a nice place to stop. We've often stayed here on our way to points west. The alien stuff is cheesy but does add personality to the town.

Roswell is a cool little town. We have been twice in the last 4 years. Perfect place for a family with littles or a sci/fi lover!

We were traveling from Madison, WI to Tucson, AZ and picked Roswell for one of our overnight stops. We visited the International UFO Museum and Research Center, which was an excellent experience. We definitely want to come back to Roswell!

Roswell in a nice clean small town that is really making the most of their "space alien" connection. The NM Military Institute adds a touch of class. The city lacks good medical care.

We loved our stay in Roswell, there is more to do than we thought and extended our stay by a day and still didn't get to do all the touristy things. We'll definitely be back.

Stay away from the south side, lots of shady character's at the Stripes store we stopped at on the way to Carlsbad. Definitely check out the Alien museum.
