Lovely hotel in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tober. A nice warm welcome, hotel staff were lovely especially in the morning at breakfast. Nice choice of food all served to our table. Our room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel before and although it is under new ownership it still is perfect. Will definitely be back !!

We stayed room only and our expectations were exceeded. The communal kitchenette room was excellent as we were able to make fresh drinks and have access to a range of chilled beverages at fair prices. Ideal if you are a late arrival or hadn’t had a chance to pick up anything. The location was great as it was nice and quiet and a 1km good walk into town, welcome after a long drive. The host is a lovely gent and very welcoming. 100% recommendation.

This is a delightful hotel it seems to grow out of the wall of the old city with fantastic views across wooded hills. The rooms are very comfortably and stylishly furnished and room 1 as well as a four post bed has its own private garden which is truly delightful to sit in during the summer. The breakfast room has lovely views across the valley and there is a small terrace to eat outside in good weather. The hotel is in a very quiet spot and ask is very peaceful. Rothenburg itself is a very...

Staff here are lovely and super helpful- hotel is a lovely place to stay- would happily return here

Great staff. Fresh breakfast (if a little unvaried over a week!). Characterful property in great location. Very happy to find.

Great location. within walking distant to the town.

A stunning place to stay within walking distance of Rothenburg. Beautifully appointed rooms and public spaces. Attention to detail was spot on. Cleanliness was outstanding and the staff were very helpful. Superb breakfast. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in.

We have just spent a week in suite 34 of this wonderful hotel . A very special place in the centre of Rothenburg , with views from our balcony which were wonderful . Every morning a wonderful candle lit breakfast served by Karin , who couldn’t do enough for us . The staff here really care if you’re happy in the hotel and couldn’t do enough to help with restaurant recommendations at night . The town itself has an amazing variety of restaurants from Chinese , Indian , Greek and a Michelin...

Lovely spacious room with bath as well as shower. Welcome fruit and biscuits. View of the town from windows. Breakfast area with ambience. made to feel welcome

Friendly helpful staff, clean well appointed room with AC which was very welcome as we were staying during a heatwave! Excellent central location. Great breakfast. All in all I would happily stay again. The only suggestion is that if you have mobility issues, do mention it when booking, to avoid a top floor room, as there isn't a lift.

Quite clean. Breakfast is simple but good and the host family is very kind and always available to help. Nonetheless, rooms are small and soundproofing is poor so you can hear noises from other rooms (e.g. toilets flushing, bathroom extractor fans, rushing water from the showers, etc.). Overall, we found it overpriced: during the same holiday, we stayed in 3 and 4-star hotels in the very centre of Nuremberg, Bamberg and Regensburg and they were all cheaper than this pension.

Nice clean hotel, very convenient for walking into town, plenty of parking and an amazing plentiful breakfast!

This hotel was excellent. We had booked a room for four and were given a three ensuite rooms that opened out as a 'mini suite'. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly. It was about a 10 minute walk into the town which is beautiful. The hotel recommended a 'potato restaurant' which was fantastic!

Lovely cute single room with sink I was very happy. Good shower. Brilliant location within the city walls. Amazing breakfast - the reviews do not lie! Hotel is based above a delicatessen owned by the same people and the variety of quality cheeses and meats at breakfast was exemplary

I wish to thank the owner Mike for his kind words we had to leave day early as my mother had been taking ill at home in Uk he was more than helpful and considerate. Thank you so much I was upset that morning. My mum is going to make good recovery from her slight stroke. Thank you

Great cakes sold, generous breakfast, fab location and the garage parking was easy. Would definitely return
