"Staff were all really welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much to ask. Every appeared to enjoy being there and liked their work. The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed. The swimming pool was warm the kids had heaps to do. The location by the lake was perfect. We'd definitely return. "

"Room was clean and tidy.
However the drive way was so steep that our standard Corolla grounded so hard we had to park at the McDonald’s next door a higher SUV tho would be ok can I suggest that if possible the top of the drive be flattened a bit. The house was very good value and the instructions spot on so aside from the drive a very good value for money stay Thanks"

"The room was awful! Had over 500 ants, dirty, wet with rain water coming in to the room.
We complained to you and the owner.
He agreed to move us but charged us more than twice the rate for the room.
It was very unhealthy to stay there.
I would like to make an official complaint with you all as it was a shed changed to a room and just not a bedroom. No tables, closet or anything.
Absolutely awful!! Disappointed that you could not do anything to help us and we were forced to stay there for one...

"We were put in Room 1 eventhough we were first to arrive at check in time. This is by far the worst room with the standpipes from the volcanic steam venting and condensing immediately outside the kitchen and bathroom windows. It would be better further away. I couldn't sleep with all the sulphur smell and woke up nauseated. I book through Expedia as when there are rooms that are preferentially better then there is a price difference and people can choose. Too bad as staff was so kind with...

"Rooms were clean and cosy. Front desk staff were very helpful. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant in the hotel.
We did have some rowdy people in the room below us on the third night but the hotel attended to that immediately and the noise stopped.
Very nice experience! Great location next to Polynesian hot baths! "
