"When we checked in the front desk staff member was unfriendly. After traveling to three other states and staying at other hotels in the Midwest where we were greeted wtih a smile, this was an unpleasantly surprising greeting in Minnesota. Room checkout isn't until noon, but on the morning (we were leaving around 11) the cleaning staff opened the door twice without knocking. The second time I looked out, she apologized. We did have to ask for more toilet paper. Otherwise the hotel was clean, and the breakfast was good. The rest of the desk staff were pleasant."

"The facility was clean, and the staff was helpful. However, some of the furniture, shower curtain, are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The breakfast was really a continental breakfast, not a full breakfast, no cooked meat protein - only hard-boiled eggs, and lots and lots of carbs."

"The staff went above expectations to provide a personal touch for our stay. They were friendly, provided recommendations in the area for walking and dining and offered assistance in our room (a nightlight and ADA accommodations). The staff checked with us to see that we had what we needed, making the stay very pleasant. The room temperature was appropriate and could be adjusted by us. The indoor pool was nice to have, but on one occasion was too cold for our liking. If you plan to use the pool, I suggest letting the manager know the day ahead of time to be sure the temperature is set to your comfort level. We may stay here again if we return to the area to visit."

"We only had time for a 2 day visit to Iowa's great lakes. Mit Chaudri and the staff were phenomenal! In spite of a prebooked wedding party and associatesld events, one room was reserved for us. We loved the room, and delicious full breakfast. We were relaxed and grateful! We will be back next spring!"

"I came here last year. It was a dump checked out first day. This time I was expecting the other days in. When I saw it was this one I considered cancelling right away. But I saw it had working lights and had put door knobs on the doors so I stayed. It is nice enough The front desk lady is very friendly so it worked out well. I was going to add another night but the rates doubled so I didn’t"
