"Second time stay at the family bach, first time in summer and now in winter. Never disappoint! Despite having no tap water on the first night due to record breaking temperature that froze the taps! Staff was very transparent about the whole situation and offered us water to get through the night. Also very helpful and guided us where is safest to park with all the snow around and they clear the roads in the morning for traffic. Best to drive between 10am - 4pm in snow days. Snow chains are not needed but we were told it's a must to have them in car and know how to install if needed. Beautiful views from the house, short stroll to the lake and hot springs. 20 minutes walk to the shops. Towels, bedding, hairdryer and kitchen utensils are provided. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you!"

"Rooms were really good. Front staff were very welcoming. Whole vibe & ambiance is so cosy & warmth. It look more good than in actual than picture listed. What a great experience. Hotel Godley ll be my forever favourite whenever I came back in Tekapo. The restaurant inside is so beautiful. Good on you team."

"Didn’t expect much but happened to be one of the most convenient place for what we needed. Walking distance to shops, dining and lookouts. Breakfast wasn’t all that impressive we ended up eating somewhere else."

"Beautiful room with great view of the lake, church and southern alps at Lake Tepako. Very modern, well furnished, and warm for our winter stay. Very close to cafes and restaurants. We stayed two nights for our visit and Heli hike to Mt Cook. Would definitely stay again."
