"The breakfast was good. The room was good, but one had to shower in a kneeling position in order not to splash outside the tub. Bed was comfortable and i got a good night's sleep. "

"The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. "

"The friendliest place ever, with a true inn experience, rooms above the pub, small but with an ensuite! Centrally located for trips to Bath, Bradford on Avon, even only 1 hour from Wales. Bed was comfortable, shower was wonderful. Mostly the people made us feel like family, so lovely."

"Staffs were very friendly and polite. Ask for anything and it will arrive in minutes! The ground is absolutely beautiful and you can take a stroll to relax anywhere. Highly recommended. Just a note that the wifi is not the best and can use some upgrades."

"We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a family function and by chance cane across The George and Dragon. We are so glad we did! What a beautiful pub with bundles of character. "Very comfortable room with very welcoming staff at the pub. Though I would advise don't go Monday as its a late check in and no breakfast. But the room was very nice, only minor issue was the coffee maker didn't work but it was very clean, very comfortable and amenities were excellent."

"This hotel is simply wonderful. The staff is charming and efficient. The restaurant and food superb. The room luxurious. The surrounding gardens and landscape beautiful. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in hundreds. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny. "

"Outstanding pub! Well appointed rooms, tasteful and charming decor. We stayed here while walking the Cotswold Way. We had lunch in town before checking in and chatted with locals in the area. Each time we said we had reservations at The Crown the response would be ‘oh, great pub!’, or ‘delicious food’, or ‘oh, that’s a proper pub’. The Crown lived up to it all!
