Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests.
Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely.
Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus.
The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting

My wife and I spent 5 nights here after our wedding and it was everything we wanted and needed and so much more. Relaxing, peaceful, serenity.
Jean-Baptiste (the manager) and his staff could not be more accommodating or charming if they tried. The room - very comfortable, clean and stylish with a Bluetooth speaker, big rain shower and robes, views were incredible to wake up and have your morning coffee in bed too. The hotel is situated at a spectacular place, almost in the middle of nowhere. The building and rooms are well kept and nicely decorated. The building is really interesting with stone walls and stairs and many levels and passageways.
Drawback is the check-in time, be aware if you arrive late and contact the owner in advance.
