"Excellent overnight stay. Our room was much bigger and quieter than expected after reading some reviews. Main area had a comfy double bed with plenty of space around it, bedside units, long dressing table and large tv. There was a big dressing area with clothes storage and then a good size bathroom. Rain shower was centred in the bath so one could move freely under the powerful spray. We ate in the restaurant and found the meals to be generous, tasty and very good value. Bar prices were also...

"Friendly place and lovely setting. A good location for us. Food was gorgeous and really reasonable. Lovely breakfast. Staff were really helpful and chatty. Great value for money! Only down side was there was no lift. Stairs a little steep - I travelled with my mum who is in her 80’s and she found the stairs a little hard. "

"Pleasantly surprised at how lovely this place is. Very authentic British Inn. Indian food on the menu was amazing. Pub was awesome. The room was great. Bed was very comfortable. "Busy village pub, very old so lots of low beams (banged my head going up the stairs; no signage, so that could be improved), friendly service, good beer, very good food, generous portions and excellent value for money. Excellent choice if you are in need of a room in the Cotswolds at a sensible price "

"Very competitive price for a comfortable room. Accommodation( total of 4 rooms) was adjacent to and accessed via the village pub , but we did not hear a thing ! Nice outdoor space for relaxing or dining/ drinking. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again. Only considerations are staircase up to accommodation and breakfast is not served in the pub. "
