"The stay was amazing. The room is decent size and bathroom is locked and private. There is a locker in the room and dark curtains to block out the light. There are windows for fresh air that was a bonus. Friendly staff and gave us an early check in. "

"I’m not going to take a star away bc of this, I dont think it is objective for what I am rating, but know that you’re not allowed to speak “at all” after 10:00pm I’m not sure how this is possible because it’s a freaking hostel. While you should be respectful people are coming and going! Someone checked into our room past 10 and they were trying to figure the room situation out (we were literally whispering) and some homeless man in our room didn’t want us speaking at all. The train is easy to navigate to the city but annoying. Also, as a side note for other travelers if you plan on traveling to lauterbrunnen, zurmat, etc. just pay the extra and stay around those areas the trains are great but it is not a quick train ride to get to those places. Stay in Bern it’s close to everything."

"Kitchen lacked utensils. No shower curtain water went on the floor. Sink didn’t drain well. Cleanliness was poor gum on bathroom door. Front door didn’t lock on building. Smoke detector had no battery. TV didn’t work. Toilet seat was loose. Location was good. Wouldn’t take much to improve the facility."

"There are many pluses to staying at the Central Plaza. The proximity to the train station; the location in relation to the river, & its shops, bars & restaurants etc.; the rooms in the hotel are spacious, modern, clean & comfortable, and the staff are very good. Some friends who were also in Zurich at the same time, staying in a more expensive, ‘boutique’ hotel, complained about the size of their rooms, and especially the bathrooms. Whereas the bathroom I had in the Central Plaza was beautifully appointed, and large. I had booked the hotel without knowing exactly what to expect, but I was v.pleasantly surprised. Like everything in Zurich it was not inexpensive. But certainly less expensive than other alternatives."

"Everything was great. The staff was especially helpful before, during and after the trip. Alicia Weinhart is exceptionally friendly and accommodating and has assisted us in returning a package that was delivered very late in the stay. This is much appreciated. Leandro and Joran were nice too. "
