Okay for a one night stay

The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and all main sightseeing spots can be reached by foot. The room has basically no amenities, and the bathroom is just impractically outfitted, and was not perfectly clean. Breakfast was okay.

We were a bit disappointed with this hotel. We were greeted politely and the lobby was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately the room was quite different. Spacious but dated. There was no air conditioning and it was very warm. We opened a window and found the curtain torn and ratty. The bed was fine but only 2 old pillows. The rug was stained by the garbage can and desk area. The amenities were less than expected in a 4 star hotel- only a hand and body wash. I would classify this as a basic 3 star hotel, definitely not a 4 star as described. It was fine for one night.

Twin room was 1 bed with 2 covers, had to sleep on the sofa as sleeping with my grandson isn’t an option.Had to show my bank statement to prove I paid before we could have breakfast. 45 minutes from receiving my key to getting to the room. I will be taking this situation further

Room next to the lift - very noisy

Even though the hotel was not fully booked we were giving a room next to the elevator and had the "pleasure" of its continuously heavy noise when it was used. Having an important business meeting the following day combined with the hassle of getting up, and getting a new room was not optimal. As the receptionist said please make a note next time when booking at our hotel that your will prefer not to have a room right next to the elevator ! Who would ever prefer that ? Other than that experience the hotel was fine.

I called the day before to explain I will not be able to attend but my family will be there and desk confirmed that my mother was on the record and that there will be not issue. They went to the desk and were denied by the desk because there name didn’t rang any bell… Hopefully I had provided a identity card to my family and they managed to get one of their room. I had book 2 room, one single and one double, they provided the single one for 2 people… when going back to desk and the young fellow there was really the stereotype of German close minded and had to argue on phone to have him give my second room to them, already paid… further more, the first room was straight to a wall and the second one they doesn’t wanted to provide them at first was a big room with river view. Don’t understand what the point of being stubborn and deliver poor room when all was paid, also they come every year to the hotel, very disappointed by the young fellow at desk.

Das die Tiefgarage nur 1,90m Einfahrtshöhe hat könnte man auch vor der Buchung wissen wollen. Parkplin Saarbrücken unverschäumt teuer Klimaanlage im Zimmer hat nicht funktioniert Umgebung zu laut um ein Fenster zu öffnen
