Room was spick and span with water.

The staff is fantastic: very warm, hospitable and always very keen to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel is budget friendly and is within walking distance of the Old Town. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of meals including traditional Azerbaijani cuisine.

Excellent hotel located next to the Presidential Palace and with a very good view of the city and the famous Baku flame towers. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and large bedrooms, we opted for the platinum plan on arrival which includes WiFi, access to the executive lounge, an upgrade to a sea view room and breakfast. The only criticism, as alluded to previously, is the charge for the use of WiFi, strange in a hotel group like Marriott.

Perfect stay for a solo traveller.
The gentlemen behind reception were very accommodating. Room was substantial and clean. The breakfast was adequate, unfortunately there wasn’t anything I really liked so skipped it most mornings and ate elsewhere.
My bathroom did flood one evening. Resulting in the night porter having to bring towels and a mop up to my room at midnight but was resolved efficiently.
There was slight language barriers which made it had to communicate and resulted into speaking...
