"It was horrible rainy, misty and cold. The room was cold and even through the owner brought us an extra heater & a lovely cup of tea, it never got above 17 degrees. Small room with basic facilities. Narrow stairs & struggle to get bags up to room. Restaurant nice but steak I had was tough."

We were asked if we want to see the restaurant menu but were not informed when it closes so by the time we went to the restaurant the kitchen had closed and no warm dishes were available. "Beautiful chateau in rural France with lovely gardens and good walks in the surrounding countryside. We received a friendly welcome on arrival and the friendly and welcoming atmosphere continued throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable and clean as were the restaurant and lounge area. The breakfast was superb and there was plenty of choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "
