"Turned up to be told the manager was out and wouldn’t be back for half an hour at least, so we couldn’t check in. So had to sit and wait (we were supposed to be getting ready for a wedding). Manager treated us as though we were some sort of nuisance wanting to check in. So after nearly 45 min she arrived and asked for a £200 deposit… this wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the listing. "On day of arrival and also during the stay the reception and restaurant staff was amazing. We booked the stay based on how we were spoken over the phone when contacting the propery prior for some details. Spa facilities clean and fully working, cannot mention a negative comment about the property."

"The room has no air com but the hotel had emailed ahead of our stay to let us know and mentioned about bringing a fan. Which was helpful."

"stayed here before and love the place. The room is tastefully decorated as is the house. The bed super comfortable and sheets top notch, so smooth and cosy. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts friendly and helpful as always. Cute seating area in the garden, plenty of parking and easy access to town, public transport. Will definitely stay again."
