"The property was a pleasant surprise. There was evident construction at the time of this review, but it did not interfere with the experience. The staff was friendly, but do beware of the sales pitch right after checking in. It’s a little annoying after a long travel day. They have good perks, but I prefer to get to the vacation rather than listen to the pitch.
They have ample pools and shoreline, water sports, and recreation. The food: The jerk hut, pier 8, Buccaneer’s Reef, Momo’s… the list goes on and is all inclusive. 24-7 ice cream/sorbet, pizza, paninis. Clubs for the children, teens, and adults, big screens, etc, I did not find myself bored.
The rooms were also really nice. The beds were comfortable. I’ve been to several hotels in Jamaica; this was the most surreal one—no shade to the others.
Lastly, we accidentally left my nephew’s iPad in his room when they checked out. Security held it and handed it over to us. That’s absolutely rare.
