"I would recommend the Granite Inn to anyone staying in the St. George area. The room was clean and spacious with very comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂"

"Excellent place to stay in Saint Andrews. Centrally located in the heart of town, right in the middle of the beautiful walking district. Right across from municipal green space with access to waterfront, views of the fishing pier and seafood restaurants. Older property with character but clean and well maintained. Great seafood restaurant and bar on site. Friendly and helpful staff. Some complimentary parking but small. First come, first served rules apply. Street parking opens up after supper. While there, watched game 7 of the Montreal vs Buffalo Stanley cup playoffs across the street at the Saint Andrews Brewing Company craft beer location. Great beers and atmosphere interacting with local residents, and an easy walk across the street back to hotel afterward."

"When we inquired about check-in, we didn’t receive a response from the property owner. Upon arrival, had to call and the owner was present and met us at the door accompanied by a dog. There was not mention of a dog in the property description. Due to allergies, we were unable to stay, however the owner refused to refund. After 3 calls to Hotels.com (booking company of record) we were only able to receive a credit. This process should not have been so arduous; proper description of the property would have avoided the conflict all together. Completely disgusted with the ability of the owner to deny the refund, with the failure to mention the animal on premises; his failure became my headache, and ultimately his win."
