"We have stayed here many times in the past with no issues at all. I have no idea if something has changed with owner/ management or this was just flook but this time is was absolutely horrible. 1. Tiles in bathroom were loose with grout popping out and pinched my foot between the tiles. 2. The toilet paper was so cheap and useless I ended up buying our own 3. The light in the bathroom didnt work so I had to shower with the flashlight on the phone 4. The mini fridge needs to be replaced. It gets cold but the freezer portion isn't even there and the can rack is broken so the soda cans fall out of it. 5. They wouldn't provide change for laundry. We even asked 7-11 down the road which would only give $2. Also asked the hotel next door with no luck either. On past stays getting change has never been an issue. Because of this I ended up running out of clean clothes and had to re wear a wet bathing suit and dirty shorts. There needs to be a change machine in the laundry room or update it to accept credit card."

"Mark at the front desk was amazing! He was warm, welcoming, funny, and extremely hospitable. Our room was clean, but the bathroom was very tight in terms of space. The breakfast at the hotel was very good according to my family (I have food allergy issues and didn't eat anything). Hope was very good at making sure there was plenty of hot food for people during breakfast, and she was very professional. The other guy that worked breakfast seemed to get frustrated easily with people and was cursing at times too. But other than that, we had a good stay, and especially with the location, I would stay here again."

"The rooms are always clean when we stay here. The staff is always courteous and welcoming. Parking is easy for the most part if other vehicles do not block the steps going to the walkways. Air conditioning worked great, showers always have good pressure. The Mexican restaurant attached to the hotel has very good food with great prices. Perfect place to stay after a day at Kings Dominion!"

"The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our 4 night stay. The beds were so comfortable it felt like we were home. There was Dove shampoo and body wash available to use. We booked a 2 room suite which was perfect for me and my teenage son. There was coffee, hot tea and lemonade available 24 hrs. The linens were soft they did not feel like typical hotel bedding and towels. We were pleased with our stay. We even had a view of the Eiffel Tower at Kings Dominion from our room. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to the area."
