The hotel was in a beautiful setting and the staff could not have been more helpful. As it is the low season we had the pool and hotel to ourselves some days. At the weekends it does get busy as the locals come to use the pool and have dinner. Hiring a car is essential, we thought we could hire bikes but the hills are just too steep. The food was lovely. The only down was the mosquitos and sand flies. Take spray! We hardly ventured onto balcony because of them. Road noise did not bother us but...

My wife and I stayed for ten nights at Langley Resort and were really impressed with everything about it. The bungalow we stayed in was simple, clean and spacious with good air con and an amazing shower. The views were breathtaking. (We had a bungalow with a sea view). Super kind owners! They were very accommodating with the requests that we had and I am very grateful to them for their help. The room itself had the best working AC in all of our trip around Guadeloupe and the swimming pool was really nice. 100% recommend, even if you don't have a car as there is a bus stop nearby and it's a roughly 15 minutes walk to one of the nicest beaches on the island. Merci beaucoup!!

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. There are of course things that can be improved, but overall, if you want to go on holidays in Guadeloupe, this is a great place to go. Take my rating of 5 stars as a relative rating compared to other hotels on the island, not to an absolute rating against all hotels all over the world (for that it would probably be more of a 4 stars). Great: -Safe, gated hotel, you won't have to worry about your car at night or about what you leave behind...
