"Check in was fine. The apartment was clean and large but very sparsely furnished with the cheapest furniture possible and the shower was tiny and poorly maintained and leaked all over the bathroom floor every time you used it. Also the Wi-Fi signal was poor. The apartment had 2 floors and the Wi-Fi only worked on half of the main floor where there’s only a very small desk and 1 chair. It didn’t work at the bed or at the couch or kitchen that was upstairs. "

"The room was amazing and perfectly clean the bathroom was fit for a queen. You definitely felt like you were in a castle. You could even call yourself royalty. This was my daughter‘s idea to stay here and it was the best idea she ever had. Our bartender Jonathan was amazing as was the entire staff. I Would recommend to anyone. "Such an amazing Gem of an hotel! Room was amazing.. food was out of the world! They use all local produce high quality ingredients no wonder they have Michelin star for consecutive ten years ! Out of the world dessert which you can’t find even in main Barcelona.. room was spacious and clean… they had cycling and beautiful ambience. They arrange taxi on request… overall it was an amazing stay and one of a kind experience "

"Staying at hotel America was like staying in a Soviet era tower block in Moscow in the 1970s. My room was very cold and I had to request heating to be put on. Even with the extra (old and grubby) blanket I was cold all night. The room has probably not been updated since the building was constructed so the bright blue bathroom suite with missing plugs was like something from the 1970s. On the positive side, public areas are clean and up-to-date and the staff are pleasant. The amount charged by this hotel is probably influenced by the fact that there are few hotels in the area. This is not value for money and I would avoid staying here if at all possible."
