Carvi Beach Hotel

"We had an uneventful stay at the hotel with regards to unexpected SNAFUs, however our travel friends had 3 days of issues with their door lock not giving them access to their rooms, which necessitated a room change. Our room was on the back of the hotel, quiet but no sun. There were no drawers or shelves to put our clothes on, so we had to live out of our suitcases. Other rooms came with a dresser. The hotel itself was nice and easy to navigate. The pool bar and Marco were our favorite hang out spot. He took good care of our party of four. The food at the buffet and the restaurants was good and adequately priced. The location is perfect. Minutes to the beach or board walk and about 15 minutes to down town. Bring supportive sandals or footwear, and sun screen. For the beginning of October it still very hot. I would go back again."

"Location was excellent - easy reach of beach and restaurants and we had a wonderful holiday. However, the Nau Swimming Pool was over-run with children and families so we did not use it unfortunately. Further negatives were that there was a dirty nappy left on the balcony from previous occupants and we had to continually go and ask at reception for towels (not enough were supplied and were not replaced until we asked) and also for toilet roll (not enough was supplied and it was not replaced without asking). Another annoying issue was again regarding the supply of the shower gel and body lotion - we had to ask at reception for this to be replenished when it ran out but this should have been done automatically without asking during the cleaning/ normal maintenance. Also, the patio doors on the lower floor where the bedrooms were did not lock so we ended up having the shutters closed for the whole stay which was not ideal."

"The location was lovely with a beachfront and the staff were very friendly and accommodating super clean too. The hotel is a little outdated and does need renovations, the beds weren’t comfortable and there aren’t many amenities in the rooms. We also spotted some ants in the room. Haven’t tried the breakfast so won’t be commenting on it."
