Excellent location, walking distance to the ferry port, train station and right on the main street with shops and restaurants. Room is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is amazing! Really enjoyed the view from the balcony of the bustling Piazza below. Staff is helpful and courteous. Highly recommend!

The location was perfect if you are using the train or ferry. The city is small and very walkable so being off to one end wasn't an issue. The room was large and very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of choices. the only negative I saw was the tiny elevator.

The hotel is very well located. It is opposite the railway station in Salerno and close to the main shopping street and the marina. The historic centre is within easy walking distance and there are plenty of restaurants around. The staff are exceptionally helpful and courteous. The room and the common areas are clean and well maintained. The lift in the hotel is rather small and can be a bit erratic. My only suggestion is that room service should make sure there is always a spare roll of toilet papers in the bathroom. One night we ran out and I had to go down to reception to ask for toilet paper at 4.30 am! Generally it is a very good hotel and I would highly recommend it.

We made this hotel our home base while exploring the amalfi coast. It is right across the Salerno train station which made it very convenient. The location of the hotel is also excellent -- 5 min walk to the ferries. 30 second walk to the downtown stretch of restaurants. Hotel is outdated but that's the charm. The elevator is small so you might need to take multiple trips with luggage. Room was good, no issues. Breakfast in the morning was really great and worth the time to enjoy before spending the day on the coast. Staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, and checking in/out.

Breakfast was great. All staff I interacted with were very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Very close to everything. You do not hear anything from outside. Very quiet in the room.

Traditional hotel, nice breakfast area with custom made coffee drinks at breakfast. Right on the pedestrian shopping/dining area, steps from train station. Front desk staff were excellent! Short walk to Amalfi coast ferries. Lots of good coffee and pastry next to hotel all day, outdoor seating.

Location is ideal for those traveling by train. The property fronts the train station and a pedestrian mall that runs for blocks. There is a full service grocery store along the pedestrian street. Breakfast is a highlight with so many offerings of baked goods, along with cold meats, cheeses, nd fruit, it's hard to choose the days selection .. freshly brewed drinks are made by the staff. Staff most courteous and helpful.

Best hotel i stayed in on my 10 italy trip. Very close to the train and the ferry, and Salerno is problably the easiest walking town on the coast. Great breakfast buffet with a working cook.

This hotel was in a convenient location. It was walking distances from the port, train/bus station and many rental car locations. We only had a 1 night stay to pick up or rental car before heading off. We arrived early and the hotel stored our luggage for us while we went out. The hotel is dated but comfortable. The breakfast provide was great and all the staff was lovely.
