There is so much history everywhere you look. The Weatherspoons pub which used to be The County Hotel and is on the bridge near the river at the start of Fisherton Street offers a lovely cup of coffee with free refills plus a packet of two Viennese Biscuits for only £1.90. You can sit by the river outside and watch the ducks and the world go by. Magic on a sunny day!

Talk to the guides! They made our visit really onteresting, edoecially when they lifted a floor corble to show us the river that runs under the cathedral. You may find a shott queue to see the Magna Carta, but its worth it and thd guides are really helpful.

Lovely architecture, helpful staff and best of all - one of the last four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta.
