"Très déçu de cet hôtel. J'ai été logé dans une chambre ou la clim ne fonctionnait pas très bien en pleine canicule. C'est un peu dommage.
Les toilettes fonctionnent difficilement. J'ai dû utiliser la poubelle pour faire chasse d'eau à plusieurs reprises.
Le petit-déjeuner par contre est très bien"
"A really pleasant stay.
You can see the brand wants guests to be happy. Lots of little touches.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Beautiful historical walk into the small heart of the city.
I actually think the location is perfect as it’s calmer."
"Fabulous location and just next door was a wonderful restaurant, le Francois, but they were so under-staffed, the waiters literally ran through the restaurant to serve the people on the little deck in front of it and sitting out under the lights in the center of a square.
The parking garage was tiny and intense. We felt certain that we must have gone into the wrong one. It was like someone's personal basement. We were deliberating on what to do and the nice young man at the front desk saw us and showed us where to park.
It was a little disconcerting for him to tell us that he goes off duty at 7, so we needed to remember the code to get back in, but it worked.
Our room was completely pink - walls and doors.
Our room was over the next door restaurant so we heard kitchen noise, but it wasn't bad. There was no A/C and the day had gotten a little warm, so we wanted to suck in as much cool air as we could before we closed the window."
"Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Facilities were as advertised. Also, they were very kind to hold a large amount of our luggage for 6 hours after checkout to accommodate our travel plans. "
"I was going to stay there after an art retreat in chateau nearby. I was taught the night before by guests at the retreat that they stayed there and left in the middle of the night because the hotel is haunted and the noises in their room was too loud they couldn’t ignore it and they left telling the owner they couldn’t stay there because there is no ac. The owner gave them a refund after a huge fight.
So I thought to myself let me personally go and tell them the truth about what they told me. Now the front desk lady laughed saying she didn’t mind the ghosts. But I told her please let me talk to the owners and see if they can give me the refund so that I don’t have to go through this. I begged them on the phone. These men hysterically yelled at me telling me I’m making up stories, that I’m a liar. Now tell me why and who lies about such a thing? Let alone how uncomfortable it is to confess a truth that is superstitious to a lot of people.I am a girl, alone, so I can get scared and no one will care or bring me comfort if I am put in a bad situation so I have to try to protect myself. After a huge drama over the phone they said ok we will give you your money back but you have to pay the first night. I agreed and asked for a refund request. They said don’t worry we’ll do it ourselves via Hotels.com, we still didn’t retrieve the money. I learn after that this was a lie. They took the money and told Hotels they won’t refund. The hotel looks so old and bad I could’ve just said that"
"Check in was poor. They sent message not received. Spent 1.5hr sat on pavement before finally communicating and letting ourselves in.
No ability to get any food. Had to find take away. No ac so room temp >30oC overnight. Little sleep
Breakfest rudimentary. Staff un engaging"
