Albergo con bellissima vista e personale molto gentile. Al check in non abbiamo trovato la receptionist ma un barista che la stava sostituendo che ovviamente si è trovato in difficoltà. Questo hotel non lo definirei un quattro stelle, la camera andrebbe “svecchiata” e i muri ripuliti. Sopra il condizionatore (molto vecchio, che non raffredda e fa moltissimo rumore) il muro era tutto annerito. La jacuzzi in terrazza è vecchia e rovinata. Stessa cosa per le sdraio, macchiate e sfondate. Ottima colazione a buffet con personale davvero gentile.

This is the 4th time I have stayed at Hotel Duomo. It is in an excellent position right on the edge of the lake. It is a small hotel which suits me and it is only 5 minutes walk from the cafe bars, restaurants & shops. The ferry is only a couple of minutes walk away too. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with friendly staff who always take the time to speak to you & say good morning in Italian. We opt for a room at the back of the hotel but it is spacious enough for our needs.

A warm welcome gets your stay off to a great start. Our room (109) was excellent with a large well-fitted bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The breakfasts are wonderful with a really good choice. The sun terrace with Jacuzzi and wonderful views over Lake Garda are not to be missed and a great place to relax. A enjoyed an excellent dinner with locally produced wine - something the owner/manager Corrado is very proud of.

dejligt ophold i Salo

lækker beliggenhed på promenaden. heldigvis ikke så turistet som andre steder ved Garda meget sødt personale. lækkert mad. værelserne fine , men lidt små. det havde været lækkert med en lille swimmingpool, i stedet for et varmt spabad.

Lovely stay in excellent lakeside location

This was a lovely hotel in a fabulous location and couldn't have been much closer to the lake shore. The area was quiet in April when we stayed but have no idea how busy it gets in the summer.We paid extra for a lake view suite which was worth it as the room still wasn't huge but did have a lovely view.Beware though- all the 1st floor rooms have a shared balcony and the room we had at the end ( 103 I think) was right behind the hot tub and the only bit of privacy for the room if you have your balcony doors open is a few small trees in a pot. I had just got out of the shower and was in the room one morning when a cleaner decided to come and move all the tables around outside our room while our doors were open. A bit disconcerting! Maybe ask for a 2nd or 3rd floor room? The hotel was clean and comfortable with some of the best pillows I have ever slept with ( and I am fussy over pillows!) served a very good breakfast buffet, and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming, polite and pleasant. (Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice though!)Only downside is, due to the location, you have to park your car elsewhere but you can drive your car to the hotel to drop off/pick up your bags and the car park ( 10 euros a day payable to the hotel) is only a few minutes walk away.It is nice to be able to leave the car in the car park and use the ferry to go up and down the lake and stop off at various little towns for an ice cream.All in all, a lovely stay.

It was perfect in everyway. The staff were delightful and very helpful. They even helped us celebrate my husbands birthday by playing happy birthday on the P A system. The rooms were clean comfortable. The location was right in the middle of everything. We highly recommend this hotel.

OK hotel, some quirky points!

I booked half board only to find their restaurant closed until high season. They charged me the bed and breakfast rate so OK. Also upgraded me to the suite. Strange room: a bedroom with an adjoining small room which is ok if you have lots of luggage, not much else. I had a king bed with a single duvet. Odd! I took a shower and ran the hot water for 10 minutes - no hot water! The breakfast was ok. There’s a sign telling you to take 1 glass of orange - the second is payable! Odd! A bit cramped in the belreakfast room, they could organize it much better. Parking is offsite, some distance away. Hotel is on the lake, good location. Hosts were pleasant. Overall, OK hotel, good location, some quirky things though!

L'hotel vanta una belissima vista sul lago. La mia camera era affacciata direttamente sul lago di Garda tramite una grande terrazza comune ad altre camere, dove è presente anche una doccia. D'estate deve essere molto gradevole. In generale l'hotel è molto grazioso e il personale gentile e disponibile. Peccato per il cuscino duro e il materasso duro con le molle che si sentono. I sanitari del bagno sono molto piccoli e la porta scorrevole, per come è fatta, non si chiude perfettamente, quindi la privacy è molto bassa. Sebbene fosse fine novembre non abbiamo trovato un piumino sul letto ma solo due coperte in pile appena sufficienti. Il riscaldamento, nonostante la presenza di un termostato, va fatto alzare chiedendolo alla reception ed è appena percepibile. La chiave tessera era un po' sporca. Se si correggessero queste cose l'hotel diventerebbe molto buono. Una nota di merito alla prima colazione: molto buona, con vera spremuta d'arancia (una rarità), croissant anche vegani, e grande varietà di proposte.
