"Our room was clean and attractive, the mini fridge worked great, even the freezer. Complimentary water, cookies, and coffee were appreciated. The shower pressure was excellent! The staff were friendly and responsive. The setting is beautiful and charming, right on the river. I'm hoping to stay at the Water's Edge every time I visit this lovely area."

"The Lodge is in a lovely country setting that allows for some strolling around the property and to the lake. Even though I didn’t use it, there is a communal kitchen available for guest use, which could be very handy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was generous and delicious."

"Our cottage was reasonably clean. It is rustic but we enjoyed our stay. The 3 queen beds were comfortable and nice pillows provided. Staff answered very quickly when I texted them. The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes and utensils. Pool was very nice and location of cottage so close to the river was nice for fishing and kayaking and was beautiful! We enjoyed bonfires and barbecues. It is close enough to Campbellford to go on an outing and hike across the suspension foot bridge and get donuts from Doohers bakery. Cottage could use a bit of repair of the air conditioner and the door. Hopefully they will do that and make it 5 star."
