Excellent accomodation-bedroom and bathroom well equipped. Reasonable breakfast but not many hot options. Bar only open until 11pm with no bar service after that if returning late and wanting a night cap!

The Swiss Diamond Hotel exceeded all expectations of elegance and luxury. From stunning decor, to incredible lake views of Lugano and kind service, this truly a 5 star experience in hospitality. Thank you for lovely stay.

Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended.

Breakfast a good variety, clean rooms and amazing staff, sauna wasn't working

It was a good breakfast contains

We had a wonderful stay from start to finish. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were kindly upgraded, which made our visit feel even more special. We were also treated to a complimentary breakfast, which was a lovely touch. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. We were greeted with complimentary drinks on arrival, and even given drinks to take with us when we left for our journey home, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The...

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, just wish it was for longer! Haha All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again. A very Big thank you to Victor who went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after. Thanks guys! Julia

Wonderful views and kind hosts.

Brilliant break, great hotel and views are out of this world !

The hotel was conveniently located so you could walk into como city, to the ferry stop or to the train station. The food was very nice, we had the hotel breakfast each day and also ate in 2 of the restaurants and at the poolside bar. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned with an evening turn service as well. The pool area was lovely, great pool with an amazing view of the lake plus very cold so great for cooling down after a hot day. Would highly recommend.

Pictures do not do this place justice. The garden view is amazing with visibility of lake lugano and the distant mountains. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. I loved the breakfast, it's simple but very tasty. I highly recommend this hotel

A recently renovated property that feels like you're staying at vineyard, yet is only a few minutes drive from Lugano center.

Except from being distant to city center everything was perfect. Better to have car or plan ahead transportation

Excellent hotel great location close to buses and train station

My husband and I had a very happy time on Como. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and our room lovely, with balcony, but noisy road, of course. The Tavernola ferry stop is handy - we walked, cycled and sailed into Como town! The Lake is enchanting - with gorgeous views and noisy seaplanes. Our great disappointment was splashing out on dinner on our last night. The dining room is grand and all the service rather pretentious, but the food was by no measurement value for money. Possibly the very best hotel I've stayed at. The entire experience from check in to check out was exceptional. The staff couldn't be more helpful. Planning the next trip as we speak!

Small family run hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food. Buffet breakfast, with some cooked food available, never run out of anything, extra coffee offered. Dinner menu and wine list good. Gets very busy due to location opposite water taxis. There is also a bar with snacks attached for day time. Hotel has three floors and there is a lounge room on the 1st and 2nd floors with books and some games.
