"The property is getting managed through what’s app messaging. No front desk, or any staff at the property. In the room there is no tv. Bathroom and shower only has hand soap. Throughly bare minimum. Location was on elevations. Hard to get and steep road."

"A great stopover location for our first night in Crete. We arrived too late to collect our hire car so wanted a hotel near the airport to make it easy to return the next morning. Booked a double room and was given a two bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette and patio overlooking an excellent pool. Communication from the owner in advance of arrival was excellent. Service on arrival was first class. Be aware there is no catering or bar onsite, but there is a Taverna about 10 minutes walk...

"We stayed at Alianthos Suites for a quiet getaway away from the busy center of Chania, and the location was exactly what we wanted. The area is peaceful, and the pool area is lovely for relaxing. We also loved having a semi-private sandy beach within walking distance and the fantastic Irene's Tavern nearby for authentic meals. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch to start the day. However, the rooms are quite dated. The bathroom and closets feel like they haven't been touched in years,...
