"Old and dilapidated. The carpet in the bedroom was in terrible condition. There are several bars right outside the hotel and so we were kept awake until 2:00am each night by drunken revellers. The staff were very nice and eager to help especially at breakfast each morning."

"This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. A full English breakfast, including a full gluten-free and veggie option with doorstop toast. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future, and can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a clean, easy, nicely decorated, quiet, close-to-town location. "
