STF Östersund Ledkrysset vandrarhem - Hostel

"Overall a very good standard as you’d expect from a Swedish hostel. A fair uphill walk from the train station, not far from a couple of supermarkets. Nice lounges and dining room. A washing machine and dryer available to use for a fair fee. We stayed in both a bunk bed double and a family room and the latter is far superior for not that big price difference."

"Great value for money. The sigle room was of decent size, everything was very clean, the bed and bedding were very comfortable. I loved the early check-in time. The two staff members I encountered were very attentive and efficient during breakfast - which was surprisingly plentiful for the price - making sure to replenish everything. The guy manning the front desk - I have to assume he's the owner (or should be!) was exceptionally helpful and friendly!"

"Great location, great amenities including a washer and dryer. Clean and comfortable. Like many other hotels check in is via codes delivered by text message. I wrote the hotel a day prior and asked to be notified by the Expedia messages. Attentive staff did. I wish this was an obvious thing, but two other hotels couldn't bother."

"I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Léopold. The check in instructions were very clean and easy to follow. It is a charming hotel in an old building with matching decor. The room was clean, bed comfortable, quiet night. Coffee tea and fruits available on the salon and a hearty breakfast at the konditorei. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t have to drive the next day. "

"The room was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the free breakfast at the cafe across the street that’s associated with the hotel. There’s plenty of really nice shops and restaurants all around the hotel. Excellent place for walks in town or down by the lake. Absolutely loved my stay."
