"What a lovely little gem in the heart of Bella Vista. This is a stunning heritage building with large, clean comfortable rooms and a feeling of grandure and comfort. It has a beautiful greed courtyard to relax in and is like an oasis in this very busy corner of Santiago. Castiil Rojo is walking distance from the restaurants and bars of Bella Vista, San Cristobel Hill, Barrio Italia, Barrio Lastaria and the historic centre. "Definitely worth the price I paid due to the rich continental breakfast that goes on until 10:30 am. The bus station is literally outside the hotel which is a huge plus taking in consideration the neighborhood. The neighborhood isn't the safest, however the bus and train stations are literally right under your nose, as long as you're careful with your cellphone you've got nothing to worry about."

In comparison with other hotels at the same price and approximate location, the hotel does not provide a complimentary bottle of water and the breakfast is very limited with no real options.
