Staff including shuttle drivers and front desk people were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but good. My experience was marred by guests in the room next door, who were extremely loud — including several young kids who screamed and ran about late in the evening and early morning. Their behavior was not the hotel’s fault, but it does underscore the fact that even if a connecting door is locked and can’t be opened, it is a thin and weak noise barrier.

This was a very good stay overall. The hotel is in good condition, very clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The room was nice and comfortable, and the property felt well maintained from top to bottom. The service was also very good. Staff were professional, helpful, and made the stay easy. The gym was a nice bonus and better than expected, and the breakfast was good as well. Another thing I appreciated was that parking was included with no extra charge, which is not always the case. The parking area also felt secure since it was monitored by an outside security company. One of the biggest positives for me was that the location felt safe and convenient, especially for business travel and access to downtown. On top of that, the price was very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, well-priced place to stay in San Jose.

We have a family of 6 and stayed in a 2-queen & sofa bed suite. Beware: the sofa bed mattress is TERRIBLE - thin, dirty, and very uncomfortable. We ended up making a bed out of the sofa cushions for our 14 year old and that was much better than the sofa. The building is definitely older - the floors in our room had quite the squeak! Also, the parking is $15 each night. The breakfast was good, and staff were helpful.
