"Nice beach access, rooms are clean but nothing fancy. No food on site so breakfast is brought to your room via like fruit, some toast and yogurt so if you aren't a breakfast buffet person it is nice. Older small style but the location is amazing. I would stay again."

"I stayed at Hotel Arco Iris for 7 days with my daughter. The daily breakfast, which is included with your stay was spectacular. The waiter, was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. The hotel is very central. The beach was not a far walk (5-8 minutes). We loved our experience. "

"The hotel room was spacious and clean. The property is clean, well-decorated, and we felt very safe. The staff was very friendly and appreciated a friendly conversation. Many of the staff recognized my partner and me and remembered our drink orders. The pool is absolutely beautiful and well-maintained, but we wish there were more pool chairs with umbrellas, as the sun is very intense. The beach is gorgeous with safe swimming access, which was a huge plus. The restaurants were great, but we were unsure about how to access the Nikoa restaurant and pool. We only stayed a week, and we thought that if we stayed longer, the food options would get old, which was why we were trying to figure out the other restaurants. The Nikoa pool and restaurant seemed like a super-nice, new part of the property that was hardly used at all. We also attended the free yoga classes on-site at the hotel, and the instructor was excellent. However, the hotel gym was old, dirty, and had no AC, which was crazy considering it's over 90 degrees every day. Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again. We felt we got a lot of value for what we paid!"

"The two owners are wonderful people! The one can also help arrange tours which was easy and helpful. The pool was nice and the breakfast/lunch bar area was great. Not a bad walk up and down the dirt hill. "

"Parking was easy and secure. Staff was friendly and helpful. I felt at home here. The restaurant was good. The property has small maintenance issues, like not all lights in rooms work, or some curtains are difficult to pull. But this is minor. I highly recommend these accommodations. "

"This was the best hotel we stayed at in all of Costa Rica! Absolutely gorgeous property, beautiful pool, clean rooms, the most comfortable beds, and wonderful made to order breakfast. Geraldine, the breakfast waitress is a delight! She's so funny and personable despite the language barrier. We traveled with our 3 year old and we were delighted to find toys and children's books in the lovely sitting area. Such a big help for parents! I'm so happy we stayed here!"
