60's retro motel. Clean, towels super soft and new.
Staff exceptionally friendly.
Refurbished rooms. Large room with plenty of seating area, and very comfortable bed.
What a joy to stay here! Old time motel feel, with old appointments, cozy. Very close to great eating and drinking options, as well as a park and galleries and a movie theater. Would definitely stay again -- great value for price.
Very clean room and bathroom. Front desk personnel remembered my name and car for niceties and conversation. Dedicated parking space without added cost like the motel next door. I would stay again without hesitation.
This charming motel is a throwback to the days of cross-country road trips. It’s definitely a bit outdated, but in the best possible way. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is excellent—just a couple of blocks from the square.
Add in the reasonable price, and all of these factors make this a place I’ll definitely return to the next time I’m in town.
Great location to square. Cost was real afforable.Heated pool and good coffee. Penelope was very helpful and friendly. We frequent paso so this was a nice find as we used to go to The budget. The owner really cares about running an affordable motel with real nice beds and great a/c. We will return
This place made for a great stay for a family members wedding that was right around the corner. The price was right compared to some other hotels that were in the area especially during early June which seems to be peak vacation time in the wine country in that area. The staff was amazingly helpful and made our stay that much better !
What a fun treat to discover the Melody Ranch Motel. Like a trip way, way back in time. Clean, updated rooms. Original, distinctive but very safe and clean bathroom. Parking right in front of your room. Check in was so surreal to actually sign a check in card with all the info needed... memorable indeed. Staff/owners were pleasant and accommodating. Don't be worried about the street noise from a busy street. Double paned windows prevented any sound from bothering us. We stayed in 5 hotels this trip, most of them 5 star hotels at 3x the price. Melody Ranch was by far the best. Thank you so much and hope to see you soon!
Great little place. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The owner is a super nice guy. The location is great - right in downtown near restaurants and shops, and less than a 15 minute walk to Paso Robles Brewery, if you're into that sort of thing (which I totally am). Highly recommended.
Overall this is a great no frills place to stay without all the posh stuff. I was surprised that one of the owners remember me from my last visit. Great family run property.
It is easy walking distance to all of downtown and. A few short blocks from the Train station.
There is even a full service Italian restaurant located next door.
If you are looking save some money and stay in a slightly dated facility, it does its job. I was barely in my room and spent most of it exploring Paso Robles.
