The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very small just enough room for one person and not much room to place toiletries. The room lacks accesible outlets. The building is beautiful but sound echos throughout and into room. AC was great.

wow, it was my first time in San Luis Potosi, and Hotel San Fransisco was the excellent choice to stay. it is in the middle of everything in the beautiful Centro Historico. you can walk to mercados, churches, theaters, plazas and historical places. the hotel itself in a historical building. the room was clean, showers were amazing after a walk around downtown. the staff really went the extra mile to help us in everything, Osmar at the front door was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile and offering his help on anything. they have this Jamaica flavored water as complementary for their guest in the lobby, which was a special touch of hospitality that we enjoyed as we came back from our endeavors at the historical downtown! Thank you Hotel San Francisco for such a pleasant stayed!

The lobby is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and flexible. It’s located in the historic downtown so very walkable in a sense that you can immerse yourself in its surroundings. The room was a bit small, but it was also cheaper than the American chain hotels. So that was ok. Parking was convenient because there was a valet. And they tell you to give them 15 minutes to bring the car back to the hotel. So plan for that when you leave the hotel. There was no breakfast, or dining options inside the hotel. All in all, good location for tourists, but for business travelers, a bit far from everything.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. The location is great. A couple of things we needed in the room, like an iron and an extra chair, were provided immediately. Sometimes, the traffic outside or some music across the street can be loud, but other than that, we are very satisfied. The people at the front desk were very courteous, as was our cleaning lady, Judith. We suggested adding a safety bar in the shower and a shelf under the sink to place the cosmetics since there isn't enough space on top of the sink. It was very easy to visit the seven temples during Holy Week. We have recommended this hotel to relatives and friends.

Pictures of rooms are deceptive, rooms are small Staff is helpful "enough", they definitely don't care to do anything above the bare minimum their job requires. Hotel wifi is spotty at best and staff say iPhones "have extra security" that doesnt allow them to connect to the wifi. The parking offered is on another property a few blocks aways and not on site.only saving grace is that the rooms offer AC, which the stadd INSISTS on turning off for yoy if you are not in the room.

I rated this hotel a 4 because it delivers on all of the really important things. Our room, albeit small, was very comfortable, the beds were great for sleeping, the bathroom was adequate, it was very clean and very quiet. The AC worked perfectly without a sound. The location of the hotel can't be beat, it is in the heart of the Centro Histórico, just a few steps from a main pedestrian walkway with shops & restaurants and close to many of the beautiful plazas with churches and museums to visit. The lobby is beautiful and a comfortable place to hang out if you have nowhere else to go. The negatives are that there is minor maintenance that needs to be done, some peeling and marks on the walls. The rooms do not have the same charm as the lobby, they are pretty utilitarian square cement boxes. The service by the lobby is good but not great - there were opportunities for the staff to go above & beyond (thereby earning that 5th star) that they left on the table. The attached restaurant, although quite affordable, is mediocre. Overall, I would stay there again.

We got one of the balcony room. It can get a bit loud due to traffic but overall it was a great room. Area is walkable with easy access to everything in the downtown area. Very recomended.
