"I have stayed at the Barcelo on many occasions and this is the very first visit that I was not pleased with the condition of the rooms. In our first room, the hair dryer did not work and had to be replaced. The toilet did not flush. The maintenance person came twice and finally said that no toilet paper could be disposed in the toilet under any circumstances. After complaining, the staff were very helpful and moved us to another room. Despite verifying that everything was in order, the hair...

"The staff was cordial and polite. The room was somewhat clean, the bathroom needs improvement was a little moldy. The room was diagonal taking space feels too small, the TV didn’t work, no programming available. No Iron in the room, requested one and never delivered, at second call they told us that they didn’t have staff available for delivery, we have to get it our self at the front desk. In general the hotel needs improvements, looks to old. No appeal."

"We did this as an option to have somewhere to relax before our two A.M. flight it was close to the airport 9min drive and quiet recommend for an overnight option not long term as room did smell a bit musky"

"My stay at Tikal Futura Hotel in Guatemala was excellent! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The rooms were comfortable, the beds were great, and everything was spotless. I especially enjoyed the indoor pool and the overall amenities, which made our stay even more relaxing. The location is convenient, with shopping and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore the area."
