"quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. Owner opened breakfast...

Don't order the pasta in restaurant..possibly the worst example I've experienced worldwide.. otherwise hotel was nice."
"Hotel is in a good location in Colico, not far from the train station and just a short walk to the harbour area with most of the restaurants. Also a great selection of food at breakfast"

"This mountain boutique hotel is clean and the individual studio rooms have a fantastic old time charm. The courteous staff ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel’s location also made getting to the Valmalenco gondola a breeze.

In spite of being a small place with few guests they served an excellent breakfast with a great variation. Much above expectations, really 1st class.

"Our stay was for 3 solo motorcycle riders. We arrived (1hr late!) during a thunder storm - soaking wet and misrrable. On arrival, the owner was there to point us to the underground car park. Perfect for unloading a bike in the rain. There's even a shortcut to the hotel. The rooms were small but had everything you need for an o ernight stay.
